Default 1997 ls400 work varianza d2

Up for sale or trade is my beloved LS400.

Mods are:
Work Varianza D3S
19x9 +9 (+2mm spacer for brakes) 225/35
19x10 +13 245/35
d2 street coilovers with plenty of adjustability left.
clear bumper lights.
The car's come two toned from the factory, I painted all the gray parts to match the body color, for a nice elegant look.
pioneer single din head unit with Ipod interface.
If I get my asking price, I'll leave the kicker L7 12 and precision power amp.

This car is clean inside and out. The car is very mechanically sound even with the 200,000 miles it has on it. the timing belt has been changed twice in its lifetime, as well as the previous owner having the tranny replaced. I made a 3 hour trip and back last night at a nice comfy 85 mph to try to trade for an s2000, but got there and it was complete junk.

Will consider s2000's, RSX's, WRX's,350z etc. on trade. Not really looking for civics and integras, unless it's something super nice. Willing to put cash on top of a more expensive car.

$11,000 obo as is.
$8,000 stock.

haha really? where did you get that price for a 13 year old car? Kelly blue book estimates it at $5,425 for your car at excellent condition.

here you go: http://www.kbb.com/used-cars/lexus/l...mileage=200000

Oh! name calling huh? ur cool! lol....... well I guess it does book it at that price. However, Its still a 13 year old car so your not gonna get that much for your old car, bottom line. Especially in this economy, youll be lucky if you get 5k with the wheels. But ill stop bumping your thread since im the only one bumping it lol, cause im sure you will get no interest! peace

I'm not hating i think the car looks perfect, the NADA price is for clean retail which is what a Stealership would more then likely base there price off.. Private sale/Trade in is more of a realistic price..

not trying to hate, just saying.. I mean personally if you want to ask 20k for the car i don't see a problem with that if that's what you want, doesn't mean you'll get it but people should be able to ask whatever they want for there car, just might not be a realistic price to get any interest.. i'd say 6-8k the way it looks in pics is reasonable with the wheels, but kingluis has a point, with the way the economy is most people are having to give them away...

regardless love the way it looks though, don't mean to junk up your sale thread..

U can always find something cheaper somewhere. You'd have to compare the condition of all cars in question. Obviously you'll find a gs cheaper, because they aren't worth as much. I didn't really ask for advice on my asking price, I believe I put obo in here somewhere. If it doesn't get any offers for close to what its worth, so be it. I have no problem keeping this car and driving it for a few years.

Deffinalty a nice car looks to be in good shape also love the rims and the way it sits. To all the people hating on the $$ its an ASKING price if your seriously interested make a reasonable offer with all "value" factors invloved. Thats how buying/selling works :-) .
