Default My Lexus IS-F is for sale!

hey friends,

Happy New Year!

I've decided to sell my IS-F. I'm not sure how much to ask, but if any of you are interested in buying it please let me know VIA private message.

The car is in great condition and just hit 16,000 miles. Comes w/ a winter wheel/tire set.

Oil changed at dealer every 2500 miles, with Mobil Synthetic.

Cheers!

Dave

Thought he was looking to pick up a GT-R!

Sorry to hear about you selling the F. We early adopters are going to eat it in resale, that is for sure.

Hey Brian, it's ok... I'm parting w/ it to hopefully get a better? car. Mr. Johnson knows where I'm going w/ that...

BTW, your car is hot! I think the Infiniti is one of the better looking cars out there.

My problem is that I'm kind of hooked on the GT-R. I'll probably put an ad in the Autotrader one of these days..

Yup, we are... I'm hoping to get around 48k... Which of course is a lot less that what I paid... I mean... just the winter tires / wheels / insurance cost me like 3k...

But what the heck.. I'll only get the GT-R if I can get my price on the IS-F. Otherwise I'll give up on the dream and happily keep the F.

good luck with everything Dave!!

An idea is to have someone like Fox Valley Motors (ask for Bill Nuchio and use my name if you contact them) sell your car on consignment? I did that, well tried with my NSX, but then I changed my mind and 3 weeks later I totaled it in a bad accident Another option is to try Woodfield since you have purchased a few cars from James they maybe can do something.

Good Luck!

IMO right now the market on the 2IS with this weather is the AWD only. Give it a few months and I am sure you will get rid of it Nice new car on the way! I wish I had something in the garage for a toy. Waiting to see how this market is first.

Sorry to hear you leave the Lexus crew Dave! You gotta swing by the meets with your GT-R when you get it.

The GTR has some unbelievable performance stats. The body style is differnt and the performance makes up for its unique look. The body lines is something that grows on you.

My sister in-law just bought the Infinity 3.7 coupe. Basically the GTR without the body kit or performance capablities and electronics. Nevertheless, what at hot coupe! I wish Nissan offered similar performance options on the infinity 3.7 coupe. I would trade in my GS, IS and GMC p/u in a heart beat. (still keeping my silver sleeper lol)

The IS-F was long over due its and awesome 4 door hoit-rod with VIP and classy characteristics. I hope lexus steps it up when they introduce the new SC Coupe. Hopefully it will have the performance capabilties as the GTR. (wishfull thinking lol )

Good luck with the sale!

Dave, as soon as I saw this thread I knew you were selling to get the Godzilla. Best of luck in your sale and searching for the GTR. I heard prices on the GTR are about to skyrocket soon so be careful out there. You better bring it to a CL Chicago meet sometime.
