Default ISF for sale in GA with 248,000 miles

Not sure if this car has been discussed here, but I've been thinking about picking up an ISF and came across this guy for $15k, hah. Carfax shows a pretty good life at the dealer getting maintained. One accident.

248k miles! Man, this guy got around...

Price seems high to me with that mileage. $5k more will getcha less than half the miles...

Thought it was interesting nonetheless. For you guys asking about reliability.

This has been posted a couple of times here from $17k to $10k and now up to $15k. Looks to be same dealer as the first time around.
As far as reliability, a bit difficult to tell, nothing replaced on carfax doesn't mean nothing was replaced. For what it's worth, it does seem to be pretty well maintained, but the miles and accident have me thinking it's a $10k max car if only for partouts.
Just in the past 6 months I've read of an F engine blowing, tranny being replaced, and 2 separate diffs breaking as well on the FB pages. Same as the million mile lexus that went through 3 transmissions. Great cars no doubt, but I have to smile a bit when people thing they are unbreakable.

I did search first but I didn't check that far back. Didn't think this car would be on the market so long. Seems the seller is dead set on making some money.

Unless he lowers the price closer to 10, it's never going to move. Interesting to see either way. The interior looks pretty good for those miles.

I don't know how cars like that get sold. I can almost guarantee that Audi with 300k miles was shipped overseas with rolled backed odometer to 30k

That isf had a really beat up interior, they remedied this by adding three gallons of Armour all for that show room shine.

Here is my $.03

it will probably run forever.

if you like the ISF, buy it for super cheap, and put an exhaust and rims on it.

then once you're balling harder you can get a nicer ISF and just move your parts over, and probably sell it for what you paid for it.

i dont think the ISFs will ever have any major mechanical issues. just call it a hunch.

For the record I am not interested in this example. Color isn't my style.

Just thought it was a curiosity that hadn't been discussed here. Oops.

Some owners swear by them, say they are more reliable then anything from M or AMG
