I bought the autobuys on thursday and I never saw that add. Called the guy right now and the car was sold
I also looked at a red car for $5600 this weekend. Dip stick was completly dry and I asked if she had checked the oil recently
- "no, the oilchange isnt due for another 2 months"
looks like is there is no oil in there
- "it's ok, the oilchange isnt due for another 2 months"
The search continous....

Plans have changed. Look at www.autotrader.com and search 100 miles of 85022. There should be a green 94 and a garnet 92 both 5 speeds.
Doesn't matter what year (1974 and up) it is, in California you need to smog your car when you purchase new vehicles order to change the title. (sellers suppose to provide this) Sorry RON !!! heehee
New Law : if you buy a car that is 99 and newer, then you don't have to smog it order to transfer the title. My Smog "hook" up boyz told me this !!!
Good luck

As far as the new law, here is what the website says: "Recent legislation changed the requirements for vehicle transfers occuring on or after January 1, 2005. When you transfer a vehicle that is four or less model years old a smog certification will not be required."

Sure, a stock 96 + car can pass CA smog obviously. I would have no interest in driving a stock sc300.
96+ cars need to have the smog machin be hooked up to the OBD2 port and that makes it hard to get the a swapped/heavily modified car smoged. It's also alot harder to find someone to "pass" a car for you since they would need to find an identical car to do the actual test on.
I got a 96 bmw that I returned to stock to smog. I cleared all codes in the computer and the smog machine still picked up that I had codes 100 miles earlier and failed me. ODB2 sucks.
