Hey guys, new to these forums, but not new to Lexus. In fact I work for a large Lexus dealership.
I recently was at one of the Lexus training centers. While there I probed one of the instructors to get as much info about future Lexus vehicles. I will share this info with you guys!
First the confirmed cars;
- The NX will begin sales in approx 1 year. The current pictures on the Lexus site are NOT what it will look like, according to him its looks even better.
- The RC too will begin sales in approx 1 year the current pictures on the Lexus site are accurate.
- There will be a RCF, this will be the new ISF. He has seen a pre-production version of this car and said it looked absolutely sick.
- The LF-LC will come to market. it is meant to be a more obtainable LFA they're going after acceleration numbers with it. Currently they are saying it will be priced around 150k although he fears this figure will go up.
Now the new motors;
- There will be a 2.0L turbo motor. this will go in the IS250, NX, and RC250 confirmed
- There will be a twin turbo v6, strong suspicion that this will be in the GX to replace the current motor.
- There will be a twin turbo v8, his best guess was that this will be in the RCF
- There will be a v8 hybrid designed specifically for performance, this will be in the LF-LC
