LS pic

 

The pic of the red one is close. The tails are just a tad larger on the real one.

 

The pic of the red is blurry. If the red pic is close to what flipside909 saw at Glendale, I say, "Boo!" I'm moving up to the new GS.

 

That LS is SWEET, if it comed close to the pic.

The IS, well, a bit disappointing. I don't like the grill & lower front facia. The back end looks nice, though.

 

Yeah if the new IS is close to what the red car looks like, I say boo also. Doesn't look that great. I don't like the front or the back (in comparison to the one we have now). Err..I hope it looks a little better than that. But I'd have to see it in person to be sure.

That new IS looks like crap but I will wait until I see clear/official pics of the car before I write it off.

All I know is the current IS and GS look great but the new designs do nothing for me at all. I will say that the new GS looks better than that potentially new IS design which doesn't say much. Ugh.

 

Let's just say I expected something else.

 

The Lexus reps here at he D.C Show confirmed AWD within 2 years (no pictures).....but Flip probably got better info from higher up.
The red car looks a lot like the present IS up front....but obviously not in the rear.

 

Ok, the new LS looks amazing.

The IS looks, in my opinion, like the mazda 6 from the rear. It's not working for me. I'll stick to buying the current model.

man, flip, are you serious that it's a good "pic" of the new IS? gosh, if that's the case, i should seriously consider keeping mine....

 

I did say speculation photos in the subject..though I think at this point people are basing their photochops on whats starting to leak out..Hence the maxima style rearlights that flip saw. So the chops are probably looking closer and closer ro the real deal..

 

Even though the car won't be there, there's bound to be some news/photos leak around next week's Detroit show.

 

IMO,

The front isn't as mean looking as the old IS, and the tail lights are tacky.

The TL, G35, 3series don't look better.

I'm grateful, I was afraid it would end up botched like the new GS. The car hasn't grown in size which is good. Lexus should have no problem with ES330 and IS350 sales.

 

I really hope the new LS takes on this direction and looks much like that illustration.
However, the cab looks too small for the LS but maybe it's just the angle.
