I'm looking at this LC500, it's the color I'm looking for, but pricey for being in two accidents. Carfax history looks iffy, and bought from auction. Should I skip? What is the good price?
I checked this LC at the Lexus Owners site and Lexus maintenance ends on 10/21/21 at 22,219 miles. Don't see an accident, but see a problem with the front windshield. See below:
Also attached is a PDF of all Lexus service performed.
Edit - Looking at it further that car is an Inspiration Series model - The first LC with that ID. The color is very special - Structural Blue as is the interior colors.

Structural Blue is a limited edition car. The paint and interior colors make this car unique. You need to pay special attention to the quality of any paint repair. As it would be especially difficult to match to factory. If accident was minor, and everything checks out, I would consider. The current listing price is comparable to a car with no accident history. Obviously, you would need to discount it by a minimum factor of 10 to a maximum of 20% depending on damages. If damages were extensive, than I would pass.

Thanks for all the information.
Yes, it's an Inspiration Series, how how do you know it was the first LC with this ID? How many were made?
Second owner drove it for 7000 miles, never serviced at Lexus, got an accident, and then the vehicle was sold at auction, that's why I'm concerned.
Move on to another vehicle. Unless they're going to give you a deal...When you sell the car. You're going to have to explain that accident all over again.

right but maybe it's easily explained if they were very minor accidents.
I talked to the dealer to see if you have any information on the accidents/repairs, they said they don't. They just look at the carfax like I do. Sounds like either they're incompetent or they're not telling the truth?
Can go to the Florida HSMV site, enter the VIN and buy a copy of the crash report as it may have more info on the circumstances and extent of the damage.
