Can anyone tell me the difference between a Sun Roof and a Moon Roof ?
Oakplank
I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think with a moonroof the panel covering the opening in the roof, which retracts is tinted glass which you can see thru when closed. On a sunroof the panel is metal (or vinyl covered!) and the same color as the roof of the car. Most cars these days have moon roofs, and sun roofs were found on older cars. I'm sure someone can correct me or add to this if I have it wrong.

100% correct. I had a 1974 Cougar XR-7 with the sunroof, which the movable panel was vinyl coated steel, to match the landau vinyl top.
We had an early 80's Accord with a moonroof. It was a top of the line XL-i model (I think those were the letters), which meant it had the moonroof, and the i stood for fuel injection. Sounds funny now, but was a big deal then!
