'99 ES300 wont shift into overdrive
Hello,
I bought '99 ES 300 "as is," with some minor body damage. In about 500 miles of driving, it has shiftted into overdrive only 3-4 times. Otherwise at 70mph it runs about 4000 rpms. I have been driving it like this but gas mileage is awful.
ANY, and I mean ANY ideas on what is causing this problem and/ or how to correct it would be greatly appreciated.
also, there are no transmission codes coming up.
