My ES300 seems to drag out the gears, it will sometimes cruise at 2,500-3,500 RPM. I am just wondering what everyone else's shift points are, at what RPM/Speed do you shift into what gear? Just to be clear I am talking about automatic transmission.

Mine does that when the overdrive isn't on, but yep, I've seen 2,500rpm cruises, not 3,500rpm though, that's quite high.
Thanks for the replies, I will have to take note what all my shift points are next time I drive. I just noticed that it seemed a little high, but I just got the car so I might not be used to it. I think I was going about 40mph and it was at like 2800rpm and not shifting even when I let off the gas slightly. It does shift, and it isn't exhibiting slipping or hard shifting so I think it is ok.
2800 at 40mph is not normal. Is this all the time or just when you first start it? When it's cold the transmission doesn't shift into 4th/overdrive until it's warmed up. I haven't taken note of any exact rpms at 40mph but they should be under 2000.
Until the transmission warms up, it won't shift to 4th gear to protect itself. The engine is revved high so the transmission heats up quicker too. It's only noticeable like you said, when it's extremely cold outside.
