This project is not for that. I have a 24 model, and has a wireless carplay. The project is to use ‘wired’ carplay for better sound quality, and to avoid running messy wires to the driver’s side vent area which is where i will be mounting my phone.
Did I get it right? On 24 model you may choose which way to use CarPlay wirelessly or wired?
So on your phone can you say forget that Wi-Fi and in Wi-Fi settings set it to not discover and not to connect to new Wi-Fi networks. It may save you some nerves and will not automatically connect to the car.
