Default 3 separate (actually 5) compliments in < 20 sec - world record?

So I was leaving a friend’s house today around lunch time and after backing out of the driveway and starting to pull forward two young ladies standing by the front door of the house across the street both yelled out “I like your car!”, then I had to make a left turn about 7 seconds later and as I was making the turn an older guy in a pickup truck making a right turn slowed down to yell “that’s a sharp looking car!” and then when I slowed for a stop sign a block away about 10 sec later a man and a lady waiting at an outdoor BBQ joint yelled out “I love that car!” and “I love that color!” So in the span of less than 20 sec my car got compliments from 5 different people / 3 separate groups - can anyone beat that? This was with my top up and my windows down so I guess they liked the way the vert looks with the top up, LOL

Yea but Florida people are easily impressed
I bought my LC down there in Orlando and spent a few days in Cocoa Beach. People hanging out of the window yelling at me on the road and stop signs quite a bit. When we got back in Georgia it seemed to calm down. My lady friend said "why isn't anyone saying anything about your car anymore?"
I get attention here, but not like I did in those few days in Florida

That’s because there are hardly any Lexus dealers in Georgia - therefore no one knows what it is - you’d be better off driving a fancy horse and buggy or a 1969 Dodge Charger with a rebel flag painted on the roof if you wanted attention there Florida on the other hand has the 2nd most number of Lexus dealers in the USA after California - thus we know a good car when we see one. Actually I’d love to have a 1969 Charger too - I just bought a Sublime Challenger since I wasn’t getting enough attention from the redneck ladies in my Big Banana

How about getting compliment not even being in a car?

I can tell my my story which almost gave me a heart attack at the beginning.
one day I parked my car at grocery store parking lot, and walked in into the store. About 10 minutes later the worker of that store approached to me and asked: “is it your Lexus?” I said yes, why? (My heart dropped) he replied: that so cool car, I never seen that before.

LMAO the exact same thing happened to me a couple months ago - I was sitting at the desk of a salesman in a Jet Ski dealership talking with him about prices and models, etc, when some guy walks up and says “excuse me - do you own the yellow Lexus parked on the side of our building?” My reaction was the same as yours - my heart nearly stopped thinking he had backed a boat on a trailer into it or something. Turns out he had a buddy with an LC and just wanted to shoot the breeze with me about what a great car it is
