Lexus LS460 Rear Suspension issue
Good morning,
I own a 2007 LS460 with 65K miles on it. It has been to the dealership 4 times now for the same issue which began back when it had 45K miles on it.
At 45k miles it was brought to the dealer for a noise in the right rear suspension. They were unable to find it.
At 51K miles it was brought back at which point they replaced the right rear shock but it still did not fix the issue and they even noted it on the service history report that the issue was still there.
At 58k it was brought again and they still could not locate it.
Yesterday i brought it in for the fuel recall and gave them a copy of a TSIB for the rear suspension noise. Upon investigation, this is my issue.
I have reached out to Lexus Corporate for help with this issue as I feel it should have been addressed under the factory warranty back when it was first brought up.
I am simply looking for some consideration in this matter as I feel this is more than just a noise. It is a bracket that holds the strut. It could become a safety issue down the line, and I don't think I should have to pay this cost.
Thank you
