I Need Help!!
I know this belongs in the electronics section. I posted there but got no response and i kind of need a quick response becuause if im gonna get the speakers i need to order them, is tonight or never.
I have a few questions i hope you gusy can help me with.
Has anyone put 5.25" speakers in place of the 4" and if so what did you do to do it?
Do the front set of speakers and tweeters come with a built in crossover?
If i want to replace the amp with somethign a little better what do you recommend?
Im looking and going all Infinity Kappa by the way. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!

Yeah,
the others where right. I had to fabricate some panels for the fronts to do 6.5 but thats well worth it if you want better sound and are going to buy after market speakers. Not a lot of full range sound comes out of 4" or 5.25" speakers. there is a big difference. as far as crossovers there are none. the back you can do 6.5 also. you just take out the pods and bend carefully with some vise grips or whatever the metal under the pod. this should give enough room to drop in a 6.5. at least it did for me, and you still have the option of putting you factory crap back in. hope this helps.
