Satellite flashing "ANTENNA"... Dealer says replace entire radio assembly
My '07 GS450h lost signal one day when I started my car. It simply says "ANTENNA". After taking it to my local dealer for a $100 diagnostic fee, they have told me that there is nothing wrong electronically that they can see, they've diagnosed it as "Found internal failure in radio receiver assembly". So, there are now recommending I replace the whole radio assembly for $1,244. This seems a bit absurd seeing as how the rest of the radio unit works just fine and it's only the Satellite that seems to have the issue. Any advice on what this "ANTENNA" failure could be or what I can do instead of dropping $1,200+ just to be able to listen to satellite radio again?

Sounds like a problem with your satellite antenna. If you're in a cold climate, the contacts may be loosened by the heat/cold cycles. Try one of the car stereo audio installation places. I think Best Buy does it too.
