Unhappy SC400 Side Miorrors tilt down in rain.

Whenever it rains my side mirrors tilt down and the electronic controls do not work. I will manually put the mirrors in the correct position then awhile later then will be in the down position again. This only happens in the rain and never when I wash my car. After the car drys (hour or 2 later) everything works fine.Do not think it is the ECU. Has anyone experienced this before?

never had that happen....you might wanna check your window seals...to see if too much water is seeping in between the glass and the rubber...or you could already have water in there...

I would suspect water ingress is shorting out either at the mirror control switch/wiring in the door or behind the mirror motors.

Would a faulty seal on 1 mirror or window cause the problem on both mirrors or do you think there is a problem on both sides?
Do you think this is an expensive fix?
