Default Engine Noise through speakers...HELP!?!?

I recently installed an entirely new system in my car and have not been able to get rid of the engine noise coming through the speakers. So far, I have run all new interconnects, re-run all the grounds, and double checked all the connections. What else would you recommend? Tomorrow I will be replacing the interconnects once again in hope that this will solve the problem.

your interconnects are probably ok. You might be getting noise if you are running the interconnects next to the power wire though. If you are, try running them on the other side of the car.

Gs3PoweR- I replaced the entire factory system including mids and highs.

al503- I ran the interconnects on the passenger side of the car while the power wires were run on the drivers side, so that should be the problem. The interconnects I am using are supposed to be mid-high quility, but I found out that a few companies have had problems with these wires. I should have a twisted pair of interconnects in within the next few days, so I will let you know if that was the problem.
