hey guyz...wat up... i just have a question about the LCD display on stock decks...... with all the ppl i kno... they tend to mess up a lot... for instance.. the numbers dont show up or it'll show up partially.....so general... you just can read wat it says on the LCD... i took the GS to the dealer... and they said i have to pay 400+ to replace the WHOLE deck.... is there any way i can get a new LCD display and fix it myself or any other place i can get it fixed? thx for reading = )

 

i read recently on the forum that someone was having problems with the lcd. he took the car to the dealer and the dealer told him that the problem is caused by the humidity of the ac vs the heat. in other words, it cant be fixed. at least thats what they said.
but if you want to change the lcd, i might be able to help you out.

do a search, most of us had the radio replaced for free under warranty already.

 

i called up my repair centers and they all told me that they cant get a hold of the lcd.
i tried to find it but i got nothing.
