Default Factory Head unit with 5 channel?

I am thinking about putting to gether a system using the factory head unit and a 5 channel amp. I am going to use the PAC Line Level Converter and it has 4 RCA outs, how should I run the 5th channel since only two RCA sets can hook up to it? Should I use a Y adapter at the Line Level Converter, which I will probably put directly behind the OEM head unit or just use one right before the amp at the connection?

Also, which channels should use the y adapter? The fronts combined(front and rear off one channel)? Or one of the fronts and a sub channel(Front and Sub) or (Rear and Sub)? Please let me know if I need to clarify more. Thanks for you help!!

Chris

Default 5 ch amp

dude most 5 channel amps have a switch that allows the amp to work all 5 channels without addind a third set of rca's. look for that switch first.

Alright, I will check that when the amp comes in, I went with the Hifonics ZX8000, so if it does not have the switch, should the Y adapters be up front or in the rear and should they use the high frequncy or low frequency channels? Thanks!
