Default RX330 anti-theft, how good?

The RX330 has one of those chips (a transponder?) in its ignition key such that if it isn't within close proximity of a sensor of the steering column, the car won't start.

Is this a good setup?

If I was worried about car theft, should I look into a hidden ignition kill switch or a hidden fuel pump kill switch?

I regularly go to mall that is notorious for being one of the worst, if indeed not THE worst, for car theft in all of Canada.

Yep, have it. If my RX gets stolen in the next 2 years, the insurance replaces it with a new vehicle, not just the current value of the car.

Still, the inconvenience. Also, sometimes I carry confidential papers and data in my car. I wouldn't want that to disappear.

What's a 2-way? And being in Canada, I don't know if the low jack is supported.

2-way is a two-way pager that you carry with your keys. It has a detailed screen that shows you exactly what's happening with your car. If your door is not fully closed and try to activate the alarm, it's show exactly what the problem is. If someone tries to brake in and the alarm is on, it's kill the starter and page you showing that the door or hood was opened. I have it, but mine also has a remote starter. It's an awesome thing. Mine is a CompuStar. You get a 4-button remote, where after all is set up, you still have 2 open auxilary channels where you can program stuff like turn on the radio (i guess other stuff too) and/or roll down windows, etc. I had it for a few months now and I love it. Of course, I have a 93 GS300 with 160,000 miles on it, so remote starter was very important, as it takes a few minutes to warm up the engine.
