Default Temperature difference affecting my CD changer

I have a nakamichi system in my 94 sc400.
The thing is that the CD changer's functionality depends on the temperature.
It works when the weather is cold below freezing point. Any time the weather gets warm above freezing point, the CD changer doesn't work. Whenever I change to next CD, it goes through the entire catridge and doesn't pick up any of the 12 cds...and finally displays "ERR" on my head unit.
What could be the problem????
I don't want winter to be the only season when I can listen to music in my car.

Maybe a bad capacitor on your changer's circuitboard? I was reading another thread about bad caps and it said one of the symptoms of one is that it can only hold a charge under certain conditions (i.e. temperature). Caps start failing at around 5 years.

You could bring the circuitboard to a place like a TV repair shop and have them replace the caps for you for way less than it would cost to have someone actually diagnose the problem.
