Ive got a 92 Sc300 with stock stereo, my problem is that the tuner seems to randomly cut in and out but the CD works fine, (i haven't tested the tape yet cause i can't find one)... when i turn on the radio i get no sound BUT if i hold down the preset button to set a new station i hear a beep so i know it can't be amp or speaker related. Im not interested in upgrading to an aftermarket stereo i have all that stuff in my daily and the stock lexus system sounds decent when its working ok. Should i look for a new head unit??
