XM Radio
I used both in my '90 LS400 with the Delphi SkyFi. I was disappointed with the RF Modulator. Infact, the power supply sucked too. Everytime I hit a hard bump, it shut off. I resorted back to the tape adapter...very rich sound and deeper bass. Now I have a '99 LS400 and can't seem to find an easy hard wired solution. For now...the tape adapter works the best. I mounted the antenna on the front dash for the time being. Essentially, my XM is portable and hidden when clients are in the car...
Anyone know anything about highjacking the tape outputs (to keep the CD Changer)?

Yipee!! I finally activated my XM and connected it up...it works wonderfully!! I'm using the tape adapter, and the sound is surprisingly clear. I decided just to put the antenna inside, by the rear driverside window...back dash...and no problems yet (traveled about 200 miles today)...
Outta curiousity, where did you guys place your Delphi units? I'm thinking of mounting it right above the 2nd cupholder (corner by passenger side)...but I'd like to see other set ups too, if you guys wanna share =) For now, I just keep it in my cup holder...

I have my Nav antenna and XM antenna mounted in the back window, non obtrusive, and no signal problems and I do have high quality 20% tint.
Only thing I don't like about XM is that if you want to have a radio in your car and in your house, thats 2 subscriptions......my car is not portable since its in the nav
