Bluetooth connectivity using iPhone 6
I have an '09 and '07 LS460 and an iPhone 6. When I tell Siri to call someone, she does and within 1 second, the screen on my car reads: "call disconnected." Has anyone experienced this issue? Apparently, it's not just Lexus that's affected; numerous other brands as well and according to Lexus and Apple, there's no fix yet. Solutions?
What do you mean by "lost"? My iphone 5s (and iphone 4 before I upgraded) transfers contacts when the phone connects via bluetooth. But, the contacts that transferred are deleted from the car as soon as I turn off the car - as the car is programmed to do. If I manually enter a contact into the car then it is always there.
IOS8 has a ton of flaws in it....need to wait for them to be fixed. ..good luck..i expect sometime in spring....BUT the last time this happened was with ios6..when they finally fixed it...5days later they released ios7....
I have iOS 8.1 on my iPhone 6 and the problem persists! When I tell Siri to call someone (while connected to my car's bluetooth), the number's dialed and within 1 second, my car's display screen reads: "CALL DISCONNECTED." I was hoping the updated software (8.1) would remedy the problem; sadly, the problem continues! Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I am experiencing the same thing.
I have an Iphone 5 and a 2008 IS-F. This seemed to begin happening when I updated the Nav software (to 2013 version) in the car. Was not having the problem previously. Also, the odd thing is, that it does not occur in our 2013 LX570.
