It can be done but would take a lot of fabrication to the deck lid especially to stop vibration

you just have to make sure you add sound damping to everything and fab it up to correct specs

Agreed....and a box isn't always needed as long as you use an infinite baffle woofer

I would also recomend adding shocks to the trunk lid because its going to be really heavy and dangerous.
