Is it ok to leave my iPod connected into the USB port after the car is shutdown? I just wondered if there might be some unintended consequence like the iPod battery continuing to drain or the iPod posssibly drawing from the car battery after shutdown.

 

chk to see how long it takes for the ipod to shut off after the engine is turned off....as long as its a short period of time u shouldnt have any issues.. make sure to open and close the door so the cpu shuts down..

 

I leave my iPod jacked with USB port permenently. The USB port is off when the car is off and the Pod buried under our center console debris is turned on. Always available when called on to play!
