I just installed a JL 10W7 into my '03 GS430 w/ Navigation and it sounds awesome. Problem is there is horizontal interference on the GPS screen whenever there is music playing. What can I do about it? Thanks for your time.

 

Hi Seattle,

If you're running the amp off the factory head unit, you're going have electro static issues. I suggest getting a grouding filter in your "line in" tap. You can find a grounding filter pretty easily at Radio Shack. If not, email me and I'll pick one up for you at my warehouse.

Sorry, off topic, but I was wondering if your w7 was in the rear deck? Or is it in a sealed box in the trunk? I'm thinking about 2 W7 8s in a box in the trunk.
