My 95 SC400 has the Nak system. Are the same speakers used throughout the Nak system versus the Premium - or does the Nak use a different manufacturer or quality speaker. I'm guessing they are the same, with possible exception of the sub (maybe??)

Also, what is the best way to test the output of the sub to see if it's performing as it should? Mine has bass, but it doesn't seem to be what I would think of a 10" sub. Perhaps it's my music selection Yes, I have my bass selector turned on full.

don't know the answer, but that's a good question, as i'm thinking of upgrading from the nak

 

I was looking into new speakers from the dealer because I thought maybe one or two of mine were bad. The prices for the Nakamichi speakers were a little less than double the pioneer speakers so I assume that they're different.
