Just picked up my 3rd SC300, gonna be my highway queen.

anyway, the radio is doing some strange stuff. when i got the car, the fuse for radio #2 wasnt installed. put a fuse in it and the CD changer comes on, and all the backlights on the radio work, but the screen doesnt display anything, the antenna never moves nor does it produce any sound. the CD changer turns on and connects to the headunit (skips disks, ect). when the parking lights are on, the backlights switch according to mode. but again, no sound and no antenna. when its in radio mode, it does make the BEEP when holding seek.

any ideas? i dont think its the amp... its a 95 SC300, pioneer stock audio. thanks

 

I say the amplifier, but why is the fuse pulled. It was pulled for a reason. I say remove the radio and see if any wires have been cut, altered, or left frayed. I would start there. If the antenna wont move, inspect to see if it is getting power and plugged in. Could also be the relay to the antenna or the motor is completely shot. Just do some troubleshooting and see whats up..
