Confused with US Amps tech's
I just recently purchased (2) US amps PT-1100's.

I was trying to find out the power specs for them. I've heard that they made a couple of versions, but the manual and site(s) contradict each other as to what impedence they make full power at.
I tried emailing US amps twice but I didn't get a response.
So I called them yesterday. The guy who helped me (Ralf) looked up the serial number of my amps and he said that my amps make the full 1100 watts @ 2 ohm mono and 550 watts/channel @ 1 ohm stereo. These specs are quite different to what's printed on the box and in the manual: 1100 watts @ 8 ohm mono and 550 watts/channel at 4 ohm stereo. In says in big print on the box "WARNING: Do not operate below 8 ohm bridged or 4 ohm stereo!"
Today I called for a second opinion. This guy sounded very very knowledable, but he refused to look up the serial number since he claimed to know all versions of the amp very extensively. He told me that the amp makes full power (1100 watts) @ 4 ohm mono and 2 ohm stereo...and NOT to run them at 2 ohm mono.
I'm so damn confused. That's 3 different ratings...max power @ 8, 4, and 2 ohm mono. I have idea how the hell I'm go to find out what the real specs for my amps are.
The tend to believe the 1st tech guy I talked to because he looked up the serial numbers in the computer. But the only thing is that his power specs are at the lowest impedences and I don't want to blow up my amps. What do you guys think I should do?
