A hello to everyone from a Lexus newbie!

Just wanted to send a quick "shout out" to everyone here on these very informative forums...I've had many cars and been a part of many forums, and am very glad I've switched to my first Lexus..('97 LS400) This forum is an incredible resource that I'm sure I'll refer to often....So once again, a hello from here in Derby City, and there will me many questions to follow

Actually, I'll post my first quick question now...What choices have people here made as far as upgrading the main stereo head unit? Double DIN? Single DIN? Compatability issues to watch out for? Thanks!

Double din w/ nav would be better
If your car doesnt have premium sound then it's a bit easier to upgrade

Double din looks better. I have a single flip up panasonic unit that came with the car.. Never came around to justify the funds to upgrade to a double din screen that i like. I'm running a 5 channel amp and 2 - 12"s in trunk. I have yet to upgrade my doors speakers though.. I need to. Need more mid bass notes.

But,, welcome to the club.

I drive through Louisville on the way to NC alot.. Only 3-4hrs from me anyhow..
