Default Puzzling Power Issues

I recently purchased a 1992 SC400 and I put an aftermarket headunit in it (Kenwood DNX6990HD) it came with alpine type s speakers in the front and back which I'll be changing out soon enough. I am currently running 1400 watts RMS through the car and I have upgraded the The big 3 to 0 gauge and also put a 180 amp alternator in I have also put in deep blue HIDs and I am running a 4 gauge power cable from front to backl for my amps as well as a ground. the lights still dim on the dash and the higher the volume and the longer I let it play the worse it gets of course it will even shut the car off. I also upgraded the battery to a shuriken BT120. Any input as to what I should do next to stop the car from shutting down so that I can enjoy my system at higher volumes for more than 3 minutes would be greatly appeciated.

Thanks
Chris

Sorry for the inproper punctuatuion and or lack thereof.

make sure you grind away the paint at your grounding points.. try swapping to an optima red top (SC34U) its better than the BT120 imho..also check your wire (i know it sounds funny) but companies aren't using pure copper anymore "OFC= OXYGEN FREE COPPER" they now use CCA "COPPER COATED/COLORED ALUMINUM" its cheaper so they use it to cut costs... i have recently had to rewire a few vehicles because of this market shift.. so we are sourcing pure copper where we can.. try to find copper welding cable (the flexible kind you'll kill yourself w the stiff stuff) also make sure your speaker wire is pure copper also if not it will DISINTEGRATE inside the rubber sheathing... i kid u not.. we started using red and black primary copper wire that we twist together in house a speaker wire now... good luck
