I have a 2001 ls430 with ML system and nav.
I am installing an aftermarket head and still using the stock amp and speakers..
The stock antenna is in the rear and my new unit is in the front.
The installation kit came with an antenna extender cable.
I used the search but only found some of what I need to know.
I believe I go from the tuner through the backseat back but then the threads don't show how they went from the backseat to the radio area.
Can I go through the center area coming out past the shifter and end up at the front?
Is there an easy way to get there?

No problems with running the long antenna lead. I tried attaching a short, about three foot, length of wire to the antenna in of the head.
We live in the country but I pick up all the usual channels with the 3 foot length of wire. No need to rip up the trunk and rear seat.
