ok I think I've decided to use brown bread for the sound deadening in my car, I'm doing my 96 acura tl I asked in the acura forums but no one has a clue.. I think I'm going to use brown bread and lcomp I want to have the quietist ride I can get does anyone have any experience with the composites from b-quiet? I am also hopefully going to use brown bread and the b-quiet hood liner on my hood but they don't mention brown bread as being good for use under the hood so I might used dynamat extreme for that.. anyone have any ideas? I really want to learn about this stuff because I'm doing my moms ls next and i really don't want to mess up on that
i bought 50sq feet of b-quiet extreme and 62.5 sq feet of Raammat60. they are about the exact same price only 1 difference. the Raammat60 was about 3 times thicker than the b-quiet extreme. the quality was much better. also the weight difference was like double. i would recomend you use Raammat60. i even sold my B-quiet extrememe on e-bay after opening the box and comparing it to the Raammat. i sold it and got another roll of Raammat.
B-quiet products hold up well but xtreeme might melt and leak in hot weather. RAAMmat has been upgraded to withstand heat up to 250 degrees a while ago. Just use whatever you can find in Lowes or Home Depot on the floors and RAAMmat for vertical surfaces and roofs.
Look at my sig too. It has tonns of stuff on sounddeadening.
