Default install question

hey guys, i have a question for you guys. I have a buddy that has a RSX which came with a factory sub. it pretty much sucked and he learned that he could hook an inline converter and a remote wire from the existing amp, so that he could hook up an aftermarket amp. I was wondering if anyone had done this. I know gettin a new headunit is the way to go, but im planning on getting an indash tv monitor eventually, so i dont want to spend money on a cd player that i will get rid of later. I tried doing a search but didnt really find what i need. thanks guys.

AZN Lex,

This has been covered a few dozen times in the SC forum. Try searching for it under aftermarket speakers or stereo
