Default iPod Connection in LS 430

Hi guys.

I have a 2005 LS430. I went into one of the audio places here in Salt Lake, and I asked about the vais connection thing for iPod. The guy said they have been having problems with them lately, so he recommended a PA15 Toy thing? I looked at the box and it said it was specifically designed for Toyotas and Lexus and it listed the years, which my car fell into.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about this connector dealy? Is it a good product?

He didn't say what the problems were. I should have asked. Maybe when I'm ready to have it installed, I'll ask more questions. I was just price checking when I went in. Thanks for the reply.

I haven't heard of any issues either. I just got an 05 LS430 and I'm also looking at the Vaistech setups.

When you get one, can you post on how you like it? That would be awesome if you could.

Thanks for the replies.

I was wondering about an other question. . . On your LS's, where do you put your iPods? I've got the tape deck adapter for now, and put my iPod in the little compartment next to the CD drive. Do you guys do that, or have you put in a special holder for your mp3 players?

all my clients want their ipod hidden, so it's either the glove box or inside the center armrest
