Quick question about putting in aftermarket stereos into SC's. What do you do with the volume **** which is off to the side of the console? I am putting in an aftermarket cd player soon, and am not sure what is typically done with that ****.

 

I have a fold out tv in my sc, and the **** is still there....i think that you will typically find that most people that have an after market head unit, just leave it there.......or you could allways replace it with an engine start button ha!

 

I say make it useful for something.

I think you could use it for bass ****, master volume control, or interior light dimmer.

Make it into a mixer....so....it'll sound like you're scratching when you spin it...

 

hahah, thanks for the replies. one other question. i know that my sc has a 2 din dash, so i am putting in a fold out screen on top, and the in dash 1 din dvd on the bottom. is the space that will be there when i take out the stock radio wide enough for aftermarket radios, or does the piece around it need to come out and be replaced with something else? i am trying to figure out how much of a pain this will be.
