Default Need some help... not getting any sound, I think I may know why...

Hi all,

I'm putting a Pioneer head unit in my brother's SC400. I've wired everything based on the wiring diagram in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...o-install.html

He's got the Nak system. Can anyone tell me what the "AMP" wire is? I'm suspecting that's the wire I need to connect to get everything to come to life... I'm hoping, anyway.

What I've done is connected the sub RU+ and RU- to an RCA cable to use the preamp for signal. I've also done the same thing with the FL, FR, RR, and RL with all of their grounds tying to the SGRD (I assumed the SGRD was the "signal ground", is that right?).

Also, I only connected ANT to the headunit power antenna output. Do I need to tie all 3 of the ANT lines together? I'm not quite sure why there are so many of them.

Any insight would be much, much appreciated. I live about 300 miles away and am only in for Mother's Day weekend.

Thanks in advance,

Brandon

Yep... that was it. Connected the AMP to the ANT and all was well. Everything came to life! Sweet.
