What amp should I go with?
I'll start off by saying I'm completely new to car stereos and not really sure where to start when buying. I should have probably come on here first before buying the sub too.
I've got an IS350 with the ML stereo and I was reading on here that some people use the Kicker 10C88 Free-Air sub to replace the stock one. Well I figured I would try that out since it was only $50 and see how it works but there doesn't seem to be much sound coming from it. So I figured an amp should fix that but I don't know what to really buy when it comes to this stuff.
What specs should I look for when buying an amp to power this sub? Also is there anything else I should buy?
Here are the specs for the sub.
8" 8-ohm subwoofer
injection-molded polypropylene cone
ribbed foam surround
suitable for free-air use
power handling: 50-100 watts RMS
peak power handling: 200 watts
frequency response: 30-500 Hz
sensitivity: 85.6 dB
