Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a 1993 sc400 and all 4 speakers are broken. Tried fixing and managed to fix 1 but the other 3 are no go's. To clarify, the 2 big ones on the doors. and the 2 rears next to the sub.

Now if i am correct all of those sizes are 4''. I don't want to do any modifications so I would have to get a 4'' right? And what brand is better sounding than our naka's that I could get off ebay? What model's would you guys recommend?

They are all 4" from the factory. You can fit, with a custom plate 6.5" in the front with a sep. tweeter in the stock position and you can fit either 4" or 5.25" in the rear with zero modification.

Best thing to do is to get a new headunit, and bypass the factory amp

also.. everytime i hit a bump on the road my cd player stops playing for awhile and when i try to skip to like track 8 or something it'll go in the middle of a random track. is that a cd player problem? or my head unit?
