Hi all,

I just ordered the Clarion GPS antenna. I have a 2000 GS400.

I have a question, I opened up the rear of the car (removed the seats and the rear panel), and saw the connection to the GPS antenna that's on the window, it's the two lines of metal.

There's another antenna inside that looks like a GPS antenna! It's connected with a connector that doesn't plug into the Clarion GPS antenna I bought. Is this the radio antenna?

Anyways, I plugged the Clarion GPS antenna into the wire connecting to the two metal "lines" on the window, and mounted the Clarion GPS antenna on the trunk, hear the window, in the center. It seems to work well, and it soft of looks cool! The only thing is that it's held on by magnets. Any suggestions of ways on how to secure the GPS antenna on? If anyone wants, I can take a picture...

For me, the GPS antenna is attached to the rear parcel deck, by the sub.

Are you sure you go the right antenna?

I'd love to see pictures.

Thank you!

GPS antenna
Yes that's what I saw, I have one on my rear deak next to the sub also, and at first I thought that was my GPS antenna. Except my Clarion antenna doesn't plug into that one! I think that antenna is for the radio. The GPS antenna is according to this post:
