Default incar DVD player recommendations

Hi, we are soon to take delivery of an RX350. i want to pop some rear seat entertainment in for the kids, preferably not headrest DVD players if I can help it. (the interior is light grey and I don't think that aftermarket headrests would match.)

I was wondering if someone can suggest a good dvd player/system that has;

- USB/SD card inputs
- can play DIVX
- has infrared headphones
- resumes movie after stop (some cheap units don't have this capability and won't remember where a movie was up to)

I don't mind if the setup is a roof mounted one, but I was leaning toward dual screens that can attach to the headrests by way of brackets. For example; http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/ne...d-players.aspx

I realise there are a tonne of systems out there, but Id appreciate any feedback on various models that people own.

Thanks,

Scott.

Rosen (albeit expensive as hell) make an oem color match replacement system in a headrest... (rosen should cover all those requests)

if not you always get a set dyed to match alot cheaper..i ordered a set of lower end units (with all the mentioned features) in tan (customer told me tan) when the truck arrived 2weeks later it had dark charcoal (damn near black) being the day after xmas every distributor was closed so i had the dyed $50 ea.... a bargain.. only thing is they CANNOT be cleaned with ANYTHING for 30 days....

they were a universal set.. so when they trade for the next truck (in 3yrs) they can pop em in the new truck no issues.. save maybe a redye if its not dark charcoal..

also look into Vizualogic they also make a nice product..

Thanks Shimbumi, Rosen look really good. I don't want anything cheap in the car, and it looks like Rosen will cater nicely.

Did you try those? Some of our members in this forum using same company but different models. Never heard negative outputs.

Default Rear Seat

For Christmas. I bought a set of video headsets and a Sirius Backseat TV set up in my Daughters Corrolla.

But for the money I spent. I could have bought them a set of WIFI iPads. And they would be able to move from car to car. And no modifications to do on your car.
