Was looking to purchase an iPod kit for my 3GS. I see that the interface is better but how much better is the sound quality of the ML+ over the SL2Vi or SL2i-UP? Is it worth the upgrade based on sound quality alone?

 

I've had the SL2vi in my car for over 3 years and have always been pretty happy with the sound quality. I can't imagine the ML+ having better sound over the SL2Vi

btw - I want to upgrade to the ML+ too but that's a pretty big price tag. Maybe next year. In the meantime, I'm planning on getting a new iPod and going with another iPod Touch in preparation for going to the ML+ possibly. Otherwise, I think I could get the iPod Classic and get more hard drive space for the dollar. I don't think with the SL2Vi the iPod Touch over the iPod Classic gives you anything better. I know with the iPod Touch it would because of the whole "video out" functionality.
