Can someone tell me if this can work?

I have the factory premium system but would like to switch to the Nak system with the JL Audio 10IB4 and the JL Audio 250/1. The premium highs are ok and the Nak will do fine if better sounding. I already have the amp and I am looking for the speaker. I would like to know if it is an easy switch for the speakers and the Nak amp. I also would like to know if the deck is the same. If it is is there anyone out there with the Nak speakers and amp willing to sell?

 

What are you trying to do? I have the Nak system in my '93 GS300, maybe I can help. I don't understand.

I have the premium system and would like to keep my GS stock! I think that the Nak system is really better than the premium system. I am not sure if the speakers are different and if the amps are interchangeable. I would like to know if my system can be replaced with a Nak system. I already have the JL Audio 250/1 and I am looking for the JL10IB4 for the replacement 10 in the back. The premium system in the car is ok but if the Nak is that much beter I would change and that would be enough I think! I have a 2000 GS would like to know changing to the nak will work.

Does anyone out there know what speakers my 2000 GS with the premium system has? I would like to know what I can do to upgrade and keep the car stock!

 

So the Nak system in the 2000 GS comes with JL audio speakers? That's pretty cool. You're looking for the factory speakers and you already have an amp?

I don't know if I would risk putting the amp in yet, because once you get those speakers you might be happy with the sound they produce. I doubt the amp is going to make that much of a difference. (I'm not up on the latest GS technology so forgive me for that)

It might be easier to just get some aftermarket speakers that you like. No one will know/care that they are not the factory speakers provided by Lexus and you could really try them out at the shop before you buy.

No the 2000 GS does not come with the JL audio Speaers. I am changing the 10" in the back to the 10 IB4 JL audio speaker and th e250/1 amp as suggested by members in the club. I am wondering how much better is the faactory equipment for the nak than my original Premium speakers that is stock. If it is that much better I will see I can change it and if the system is compatible with my head unit.
