Question Keyless entry locking, but not arming

Hi guys, I'm new here. I have a '02 ES300 that I purchased about a month ago. Less than a week ago the single beep sound associated with the car being locked and armed stopped. The car still locks when I press the keyless entry button, and even stranger, the car makes the double beep disarm sound when unlocking, so I know its not an issue with the volume ****.

I did take a quick look around the forums but I didn't find much useful information so any help would be much appreciated.

What are you using as a basis for stating that the factory alarm is not arming?

Thank you Shibumi1, you nailed it on the head! This morning I rolled down the windows, then got out of the car and pressed the keyless entry arm button. I reached through the window and opened the door, and the alarm didn't sound. But as you said, if it thinks 1 of them is open it won't fully arm. I just checked all four doors and found that the back right automatic door lock isn't functioning. It turns out that I've been driving around for a week with my door unlocked. I locked it manually and now the alarm armed just fine. Now I just have to fix the door lock. Problem solved, new one encountered.
