CarPC install tips? Going in an SC300.
Well, i have a 1998 SC300 with the factory Pioneer system (which is a two amp system btw, not the single amp system like the 99s and 00s). And i've gathering some stuff for my CarPC build. Ran across some issues though, lol.
My current problem is monitor related. I'm using a Lilliput EBY701, and i'd really like to get a double din frame for it. As you can see, the frame has no buttons, and that's how i want it, clean with no buttons. So that runs into the problem of, how do i turn the monitor on? I want it to turn on automatically when the car starts.

i would suggest to head over to mp3car.com they have tons of info on this topic as for the one thing i can recommed for powering up the pc is threw a dc dc power supply with the a mini atx motherboard that wake up on the presence of voltage good luck its fun project with all the headache involved too. cheers
