1995 sc300 stereo install (having problems
I am trying to put in a new aftermarket stereo in my lexus. the power to the radio works and so do all the applications. but I cant get music to play. has anybody got any advice for me

This is probably the thread you are looking for.
The remote turn on for the factory amps needs some small modifications for an aftermarket head unit to turn on the factory amps. It's pretty simple even though it seems daunting, can be done in about 2-3 hours, all you'd really need would be some extra wire, to make the connections, and some electrical tape at the least, however I'd suggest using a soldering gun for secure connections.
