How do I remove the factory radio in my GS?
Guys I seem to have a short circuit in my car and have a feeling its coming from my factory radio. Anyone know how to take the factory Pioneer head unit out? Thanks in advance.

OK, I really hope you appreciate it, 'cause it took a little bit of time
Ok, first, the ashtray just pulls straight out, be sure to move your shifter first so it doesn't hit it.

I am a certified installer, so I have the proper tools, you might want to invest in a quality panel popper so you do not damage anything. The dash is very soft, and easy to work with, but you could still scratch it if you just used a screwdriver.

Also two 10mm bolts on the bottom, as well as 1 popper that you need to pull out. (Took a litte bit of encouragement!)
I placed my panel popper underneath of the popper so you could see how I got it out finally.

Unfortunately I am leaving town tommorrow morning for a week. As soon as I get back, I'll install my KVT and post pics, its going to be somewhat custom
BTW- the factory radio removal was an absolutely cake job, you should have no problems.
