Hey CL,

It's been a while since I've been to the forum so this question might have been addressed already.

I'm using 2006 Nav in the GS and the area I live in is so new that the nav is mostly blank. Not to mention the graphics in the 2006 Nav are like ATARI to PS3 when compared to other Nav systems out there. I use Google Navigation on my phone but it KILLS the battey. Does anyone know a way to update the nav in my GS to compete with Google Nav?

What navi disc are you running? could be an out dated disc.

yes the lexus navi system sucks. nothing you can really do to upgrade the gen 4 system. the 07+ GS is when they switched to gen 5. I believe the '10 GS has gen 6

 

Morning! thx for the quick reply! My map dvd version is 0.4 ? I've never updated it. Is there a way to update the nav on our 2006 GS' to 2010?

 

you cant update the system but you can buy newer navi disc. i believe the current one is 10.1
