question about my PG amp
i have a phoenix gold ti 600.1 amp and the specs are:
Output power at 12.5V:
2 x 75W @ 4 ohms
Output power at 14.4V:
2 x 150W @ 4 ohms
2 x 300W @ 2 ohms
1 x 600W @ 4 ohms bridged
the sub says it can safely handle 300-500 wrms. it is a jl audio w3v3-4ohm.
i am just installing an amp and sub in my Mark Levinson ls430.
so from the above specs about the amp, will it register at 12.5 volt or 14.4 volt on the LS? and also if its rated at 12.5v would the bridged wrms be 300 on 1 channel?
side note, would turning down the gain necessarily turn the wrms down?
